Meet Reuben. Rueben was brought in to us with an infected eye. On close inspection by our vet, it was found that he had an ulcer in his eye, which had burst and also caused him to loose his eye in the process. Reuben has recently had corrective surgery for this and is recovering well. Reuben is a really sweet boy, who has touched the hearts of everyone here. He lacks in confidence and needs a gentle gentle approach. He is finding living with other cats a bit stressful, and prefers to be by himself with in the cattery. Reuben needs a quite home, with someone who understands that he will need time to gain trust with his new owner, and someone who will give him the space he needs when he becomes a bit over whelmed. He has never shown any aggression, just shys away when he is a bit unsure.
